HELP identiyfing a Marzocchi Bomber fork

Hi,

I've been searching and digging around the Internet trying to figure out which Marzocchi Bomber fork I have, but didn't succeed.

Luckily, I've found this forum with very good info and experts on retro bikes.

So, let's go for it!

My fork is a Marzocchi Bomber and it says 2000 on the stiker. There is no other stikers with the model, just a yellow one with the serial number. There is also a relief seal with the number 98 on both internal sides of the fork.

Here I attach the pictures of my bike and the detail of the fork hopping that some one can tell me the model of it.

i would say z4's the year is stamped on the inside of each leg in a little round logo

Ok, so that's year 98 on the logo.

I'll try to find the manual on the Marzzochi site.

doesnt it have the model no. on the yelloy decal on the rear of the left leg ? it'll have z and a number beside it right at the top ?

I'm affraid it doesn't have the sticker with the model. That's why I'm asking.

I gone mad looking for the model with no luck.

Sorry you guys. I know about the older Marzocchi's ... all _before_ the bombers ;-)

1998 should be Z3 or Z4, but I dont know the differences in detail, sorry.

In your first picture I can see a long yellow decal on the back of the fork , it will have the z number stamped on it
