Help identifying vintage steel frame — maybe Batavus, Peugeot or something else?

Hi everyone,I'm trying to identify this vintage road bike frame. I got it used and repainted it — originally it was pink, and under that was white or light primer. The fork has a Batavus "B" logo with Dutch flag colors, but I'm not sure if it's original.


Here’s what I know:

• Internal rear brake cable routing through top tube
• Seatpost size: 25.4 mm
• Downtube shifter bosses
• Braze-on front derailleur tab on seat tube
• Horizontal rear dropouts with adjustment screws
• Serial number under bottom bracket: 94437
• Steel frame (feels light)
• Originally pink, possibly white underneath
• Bottom bracket shell is plain, with a possible letter stamped beside the serial
• Rear bridge is simple, clean — no holes
• Frame had no decals except the fork

Could this be a Batavus Professional or something else (Peugeot, Gazelle, or maybe Belgian/Dutch custom)?
I’d really appreciate help from anyone who recognizes the details or geometry.

there is a B on the fork, this is before repainting, I bought it used in pink, but most likely the real color is white, I can assume that it is Batavus, but I don't understand which one

if you were to rub something such as crayon or paint over the symbol/logo to the left of the serial it might bring it up to better legibility

appears too complex to be a simple number or letter...

may be a logo a reader shall recognise

of course it could just be from the maker of the shell

the problem is that when i painted the frame red i painted over this symbol, something like the letter B or the number 2, 3 or Z

The very close clearance at the seat tube and the downward slope of the frame suggests to me that it was built as a fast, pure time trial frame, possibly before lo-pros became fashionable. Lurid pink colours were fashionable early 80s

For some reason I think the real color is white because when I was scraping off the paint, the white seemed too bright for a primer.

two simple checks you could make to advance the inquiry would be to measure the frame tube diameters and the thread of the steerer and bottom bracket

these values would help to limit the possible nation origin

one would expect a Batavus fork to exhibit a BSC thread, if bottom bracket thread differs from steerer that would suggest frame and fork from differing makers

the stated saddle pillar size of 25.4 is surprising; one might have expected something more like 27.2. is there a visible shim or possibly and internal reinforcement at the top of the seat tube?

There is a thickening of the seat tube near the bottom bracket assembly
Thread in the BSA bottom bracket cup
The problem is that I can't even find anything similar
