Help Identifying Frame Please (Orange??)

Can anyone identify the frame in the pictures below? It's on a local auction site and states the following:

"Orange with Titainum Red frame decal on the top bar"

Hmmm... doesn't really tell us a lot? I see the Titanium Red Star is a Ti frame manufacturer... or I could be wrong?

Thanks in advance (and apologies for the 1st Photo?? its a sticker that says 'Titanium Red' with a red star at the end.

I think it may be a early 90s Clockwork, there can't be many in NZ mine got a lot of interest when I was over there for the Southern ravers & Coast to coast in 96/97.

Looks a lot like a Clockwork to me. I've got a frame very similar to that tucked away somewhere.

Those Titanium Red stickers were all over the front of magazines BITD, as part of the sticker sheets they used to give away. Maybe they still give them away now. It might be something for the chaps at Privateer to consider

It looks like a 91 or 92 steel Orange, size 19. It isn't titanium. I have seen it said that the lack of a chainstay bridge is indicative of a Prestige rather than a Clockwork, but I'm not sure whether that always holds good.

I'm pretty ssure that it's an Orange, and we could pretty much confirm that from the serial number, but I think you'd have to weigh it to confirm that it's a Prestige.

Thanks guys... will see if I can get a serial number from the seller to confirm.

Next question... what would be an ok price to pay? Two prices... one based on Clockwork and the other on Prestige?

Appreciate peoples help.

i would say its expensive for what it is and the condition its in mate

Agreed. Just had to double check it wasnt a Ti frame! Haha. If it was a Prestige it might be worth a look, but getting it to Welly would definitely make it too expensive.

Keep an eye on here for a prestige. I'm back in uk for Christmas and happy to bring things back. Then getting it to welly is cheap as!

Ps if you want ti I have an f14 Clark Kent hanging around downstairs doing nothing. It's nos too!

Argh! Always wanted a Ti Frame, especially an older on that I can stick my full 737 groupo... pity I know I wouldn't be able to afford it...
