Help identifying a Raleigh frame

As the title says.
Possibly going to look at a bike at the weekend.
Same chainstays and headset detailing as a RRA but it's got a pump pin on the back of the headset.
It's silver in colour, 531 etc.

Not got many currently. I've zoomed in on this one to show the details. Otherwise it's just a picture of a bike.
I do have this picture but nothing more detailed.
Reynolds sticker dates it to post 88/89.
Pump peg was also visible in the catalogs for this year but model dosent match up
Shimano 600 rear mech but that could have been changed.

Looks like a 1983 Competition 12 to me that's been resprayed and has a later 531 decal. Prugnat lugs, top tube eyelets and seatstay caps look the same as a few other models that year.

Could be G.O.D mid-eighties special model? dunno.

Did these head lugs ever get used on 501 bike.
The seller beives it's a 87/88 so possibly a "Competition" but that year its in the catalogue as 501sl...

Not sure what is going on here, but the frame does indeed look like an ~'83, but the Reynolds decal dates from the '89-'94 period. Judging by the surface rust the paint is original.

That has a fastback cluster. The OP's doesn't.

Here's a similar frame - a Competition from between 1983 - 1986. No pump pip though. Lugs and seatstay caps looks identical, as do the cable guides, dt bosses and recessed brake bolts (pre 83 models had nutted brakes and band-on shifters afaik).

I'm sorry I wasn't clear. The pic was about the Reynolds decal, which predates the one on the OP's bike, not the seat cluster.
