Help!!! Forks full of sticky gunk!

Try getting some PJ1 contact cleaner from a motorcycle shop. Cleans up the worst of gunk a treat. Also a garden cane split at the bottom with a rag held in the split is what I use when cleaning out forks.
Just on with my RC41's at the mo although pace sent me a new threshold ass which the threads were oversized and wouldnt screw into the crown aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrgh! I wanted to have em for yesterdays ride!

Tried that and it seems to make to worse. I now have it stuck to the kitchen sink, i'm in deep shit if I can't get it off before the missus gets back.

I had to wet and dry the whole sink in the end with 800 grade!

Will try the PJ1, Dietar.

HELP! PLEASE

I have stripped and cleaned the suspension now and the aluminium silver round spacers are fine (not corroded) a tiny bit sticky on some but not massively sticky - Can these be reused?

The plastic bushes - has anyone else noticed that the plastic bushes have a diagonal split in them? Is this intentional or have ALL my spacers split in exactly the same place on ALL of them? Seems a bit strange and coindidence if they have...

Some help would be appreciated, thank you people. :)

To add a bit more meat on to the above description the reason for the split in the bushes is to enable re-assembly as without the split the bush will not pass a bulge in the legs.

Carl.

drcarlos - thank you so much for that info dude really helpful.

The new elastomers are on their way to me; re-assemble elastomers and fit them, enjoy the bike for a month or so then arrange the respray :D
