Help Columbus frame with Ritchey drop outs what make?

...except the only pictures of Sunn frames I can find all have the cable-stops on the side of the top tube, not the top.

Might have been manufatured in same factory with slightly different specs? There was a recent thread that listed where various Sunn frames were made. Not too sure where I'm going with this... Perhaps if the factory were identified then you could draw up a short list based on who they were building for? Seems a lot of work. All you really need to know is, it's a nice frame that wants building and riding.

Looks like something from Specialized to me?
Nope, definitely not. Steel Specializeds never used top-routed gear cables, weren't built with Columbus tubing or shaped main tubes, had distinctive "Direct Drive" stays, and didn't use that style of seat collar.

No idea what it is though.

My 98 Sunn has routing along the top. Tange double butted tubing though.

However on the BB next to the serial number it has the model stamped as well.

Hi

The cranks are Sugino..Imp or 2mp written on crank
Also on the canti bosses on the frame there is a "S" stamped

The frame is polishing up nicely and I will create a build thread soon
