HELLO MATEY PEEPS

Well where to start....in the eighties i raced bmx...alongside the likes of andy ruffell and my ol mate kevin rivier with team raleigh support....kev is still competing across the country!I then went motorcycle racing but used mtb riding as a form of keeping in shape for the motorbike racing,i did some normal club mtb races but found the injuries i sustained in my motorbike racing (often) affected my cycling....so i moved on to mechanics...and worked for halfords in the early eighties before they botched it up.I was offered a bmx ride with a manegerial role for the halfords bmx team, but i had to ride for team puch murray/halfords as they were stockists of that particular bike.....it was heavy and poo!.I eventually moved on and was buildin road and mtb cycles for monty and grant at condor cycles in grays inn road, these were my best years,i loved it there and it was a great family run business.Since then i have worked in the motorcycle industry and i also opened my own mtb shop in spain.....it was heaven untill the crisis so i was forced to close it....now ime back living in the uk and really miss those mountain rides in andalucia....REAL MTB RIDES but very hot.....loving the site and the people....byeeeeee.

A very warm welcome,

Andy Ruffell was my idol , BMX Beat was the best show on telly.
