Hi to Everyone...

I live in Heath hayes very close to the chase - hence the user name

After yers of upgrading to the latest / lightest / trickest, I have now gone back to my roots!

I just picked up a dyna-tech frame and have started the quest to restore the full bike.

Having a real problem with finding a good threaded 1- 1/8 fork though. Any advice? :?

Welcome Chaser, stick a post in the wanted section, i had same problem and got a very nice Manitou fork for my Saracen. Post some pics of your build too.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys....

I will take some pics ASAP.

Picked up a few nos bits over the weekend so cannot wait to start to build.

I am really impatient so it won't be long... maybe I can get it together for the ride at Cannock Chase on the 28th Dec.

Actually, I forgot to mention that I also still have my 1997 Sarecen that my 12 yr old son, Elliot, has just started to use. He would rather have that to ride than a new XXX brand bike! There must be retro blood in him

He stopped a guy on the chase on a Clockwork so that he could have a good look

Which Saracen have you got Chaser?

My Saracen is a '96 Terratrax.

When I bought it it had an acera X groupo.... I quickly go the bug and put a set of Quadra foks and LX brakes and transmission.

I used it for about 18 months and then bought a Marin Mt Vision.

My son Elliot who is 12 has just started to ride it... he loves it! he want to bring it to the meet on the 28th!

I have a few bits arriving this week so will post some pics of the DynaTech [and the Saracen] ;-)
