Hejira - Joni Mitchell 'cover' band

As a huge fan of Joni esp. her jazz influenced stuff, this British band is a great new discovery. Fab to hear those Jaco basslines played so well!

It does. I think they do a great job keeping the strands coherent which must be challenging. Most of their tracks seem to be covers specifically from the Shadows and Light live album which are quite different to the studio versions. I do like S&L but find it a bit disjointed ironically, with Jaco sounding detached and too prominent. Perhaps it's the HDCD which never seem to sound good on my player.
