Head Badge rivet spacing and orientation - Is there a database anywhere on this forum (or elswhere for that matter)?

Those of us with unidentified or miss-identified frames would find it useful information. At the very least it may help in ruling out certain builders.

An interesting idea and certainly we've all been desperate at some time to find out the unfindoutable
But i cant help but think that other identifying fittings or parts would give a better idea ,lugs, braze ons etc, or how the seatstays attach or wrap around rather than rivet spacing with though limited to separate badges, may be of such similar size that specific identity between manufacturers would be impossible.

Of course i know little of road bikes or their badges But still :?

Interesting issue, I've a frame around late 1980s as per usual when I find an old frame / bike / bits its been hand painted so all original decals & marking are lost, I've one frame which has two parallel fixing holes i.e. east west not north south, so I'm slowly building up a case when ever I view photos & see the same fixing I'm jotting it down as a possible contender, as I'm hoping with that list (at the moment is rather small) & the seat post diameter I can narrow in down further.
