If your paypal account is linked to a credit card you may be able to pursue a refund that way too.

He owes me £15 for some Dia-Compe 987's, I've already got the PayPal claim under way.....the fact he's had a number of email addresses linked to PayPal that are now closed or not authorised to receive payments is a really bad sign :?

Wouldn't want to inflict harm on him, I'm a firm believer in karma....he'll get what's coming to him sooner or later

Hi guys (and gals)
I am off to the bank on tuesday morning to confirm the account the cheque was cashed into. They told me over the phone that there may be nothing they can do, but to speak to my branch.
I am hoping they will at least be able to tell me the name of the account and if it is not whom I wrote the cheque to, I will be asking why the hell it was cashed. But alas its bank of scotland and I am sure I would be better off giving my money to three chimps with an abacus. :shock:
I was also thinking of going to the police up here in Inverness as I am in Inverness for work on Tuesday and reporting it.
Has anybody else already reported this? Maybe they might not be able to do anything except knock on his door and have a word, and that might stop him doing it again.
Its not the twenty quid that bothers me, as I am resigned to that being long gone, its the fact this guy seems to have a habit of this and joined our community with the intention to fleece us.
I will let you know how I get on and if anyone has reported it or has any relevant information please get back to me.
