Can one of the mod's get his IP and trace it to at least give an idea what area he is in? I pretty much think unless he's stupid he won't have given you his address. A similar thing took place on a mercedes forum I used to frequent and the police were just not interested 
He may even have let the cash payments go to an address that was empty and he couldn't collect from just to stop you from getting suspicious and pm'ing other members to ask about him.

The address mentioned on the previouse page is the one that I sent my cheque to for £20.
I am up north of Scotland so a bit far to go to see if anyone is at the address, but I will ask the bank in the morning to trace the cheque and who cashed it as we believe fraud is being committed.
If somebody lives nearby could they possibly see if the address exists or is it a abondoned factory or derelict house maybe?
I dont know, but it sure pisses me off, this forum and members are always helping each other and then we get this and Deore II. Thankfully its rare. In my experience everyone seems to treat each other like mates, which is a good thing but that probably brings out the idiots like this, that thinks he can use that for a quick buck.

if this guy is cashing cheques, surely it isl ikely that he can be caught, he must have gone in to a bank to cash it, he should be on camera doing so, and if it is a fake account, shouldnt someone tell the bank ?
