Has anyone used a recon aluminium cassette before

it was sprinting over haven bridge that did it....at least i got a new set of cranks out of it...never went back to the alloy cassette and hollow pin chains after that...

what aluminium is it made from?
why not consider another cassette/material and get it anodized yourself for that price!

I think it is 7000 series alloy.can you anodize other metals :shock:
