Has anyone ever tried to actually call CRC?

have had a few orders go wrong this year.

getting a bit big and not keeping up with the service methinks.

ive used CRC several times (well about 8...all over 250gbp).

theyve only sent the wrong thing, was a pair of crappy michelins and they werent in the box, they arrived a week and a half later (to australia) after a quick email. i was happy.

and because im an indecisive bastard i asked them to change the colour of my hubs. which they did, but accidently charged me for two sets of hope pro 2s. another quick email and they had refunded me the cost aswell as an international bank fee, that they really didnt need to do.

i was very happy with that.

ill keep buying from them when i need to, they are still the cheapest and their customer service, while a little slow is still pretty good.

I ordered two gear cables as part of a larger order. They arrived cut in half and thus unusable even for a front mech.
Today a package arrived. The pair of grips with inclusive bar plugs I ordered arrived as a single grip, in a ripped poly bag.

I gave up trying to get fancy hose and outer cable off them, first order was ok but the second and third were completely wrong (red Goodridge hose instead of clear etc :roll: )

Ordered a pair of rims, grips and chainring bolts from them last week, got the grips and chainring bolts on friday, no rims though, they have charged me for them and the invoice has a "W" penned in at the rims, anyone know what this means ?, dreading trying to contact them next week if they dont show :roll:

5.10 pm yesterday afternoon and they picked up the phone on the third ring! my order came through incomplete! I ordered a set of magura stainless braided hoses, all that came in the bag was one link hose that goes from one piston the other and nothing else :? so back it goes to be replaced

bargin i thought, on sale for £17 now the hassel to sort it out.

well I got a partial refund! the return postage as promised, now just waiting to see if another full set turns up in the post in the next few days

they have just sent me an email to say that they made a mistake on the website and i can return what i have for a full refund. why can they just send the rest of the order as i now have half a full kit. :?
