Repost with reduction. I recently acquired another bike and space is needed even though I love this one. A bike with some history! Originally bought in '90s by previous owner. Around 2000 he had frame stripped by Chas Roberts; rerouted brake cable under top tube, added chain peg, pump peg to seat tube and spigot on fork (for light to Audax spec). Resprayed in French flag colours. Had own surname decals instead of 'Harry Hall' to prevent theft. Added beautiful '91 Campag EUCLID MTB (1989-91) chainset and French Salmon mudguards. He rode the 256km Paris-Roubaix Cyclo and Arenberg Forest on it. I acquired in 2008 and swapped out the brake levers for Campag Veloce ergos, Veloce rear derailleur and Record (8 speed) cassette. I can include a pair of Shimano 600 pedals I regreased (very smooth) with toe clips/straps, another cassette (12-23) and the Shimano Sora 8 speed derailleur (paired with Shimano 105 brake levers) that I replaced - more photos to follow.
Frame is Reynolds 531 Competition with Columbus dropouts and 531 forks. 21 1/2" seat tube centre to centre, 21 1/2" top tube c to c. Perfect size for me at 5' 9 1/2". Campag EUCLID MTB (1989-91) chainset with 50/38/28 chainrings, Veloce 8 speed ergos, rear derailleur, Record 8 speed cassette (26-12), Shimano 600 front derailleur, Cinelli Giro D'Italia bars, Cinelli stem, Chorus headset, Mavic rims with Campag hubs, 25mm rear and 23mm front tyres, Shimano 105 Brake calipers, Shimano pedals (clip-in/flats), Turbo saddle (well worn but still comfy) and rare French Salmon aluminium mudguards. A little surface rust and the odd paint chip but nothing serious. I'll include two 23mm unused tyres and rack as seen in gallery below. Also a spare cassette (13-23 I think) and a pair of Shimano 600 pedals with toe clips/straps - photos to follow. Location Wirral - £250 Photo gallery:
