Haro Escape - Help identify year

Hi guys! I got this Haro Escape from a flea market and was in pretty bad shape. Have cleaned it up n replaced some broken parts.

Question is, can anyone help to identify the year this frame was released? It says made in usa, crmo 4130. Appreciate any info. Thanks!

Serial number is under the bottom bracket. I believe it's a letter and the following two numbers is the year;
R91XXXXXX = 1991.
