I agree. When mounting your queen, it's always a good idea to have your crank out.

I'm using one of those pedal hangers made by point (ebay result link).
Works just fine ... except that my Sbike is a little nose-heavy (long front but very chort chainstay length) if you hang it on its pedal. It always wants to hang at a 45° downward angle so I ended up putting a small nail in the wall to support the front tyre. You would never notice.



I do kinda fancy the full wall setup below though, although I'd add shelves between the bikes to minimize the amount of lost space.

I have these as well but bought a gallon of rubber tool dip to soften up the crank interface with the bracket. Works like a champ.
