The one thing the old trout never buys herself is handbags, so I am going to treat her. Inspired by the spammers from early today who gave me the idea, Gucci I think is going to be the selection, though they spammed a whole bunch of top brands.

Must have been something about it being a cycling forum, everyone knows cyclists never leave home without a handbag.

My girlfriend is a big "The bridge" fan she recons people who get luis vuiton or gucci are just following the fashion, so she gets exclusivity hand crafted italian style whilst also not becoming a target for muggers...depends what you are after really.

I personally like fendi, but then again i'm a straight guy so what the hell do i know...but there are hundreds of posh brands out there, bottega veneta is another candidate but i think for one of those new you are looking at 2 grand.

If you are really wanting to remortgage your house and buy something ludicrous, look up hermes birkin the prices are eyewatering, like new car prices...

look on ebay sort by price highest first...i think there is at least one on there for about £70,000
