Hi all,
I am the owner of a 1997 Kona Hahanna, but have a problem.
The seatpost size should be 27.0 mm, but isn't.
I have tried a 26.8 mm seatpost. It will sink just below the joint with the top tube. I can't even get it in past the minium insertion mark. I have tried to sand the inner of the seat tube and the seatpost, but no succes.
Then I measured the outer diameter of the seat tube. It narrows below the joint with the top tube.
That raises the question is that normal? Is the seattube suppost to narrow downward?
If it is, what size seatpost should I use?
I hope someone can help me out.
This is my bike.
A similar one.
Cheers,
