how do you remove these? i believe they are hollowtech fitting, but ive taken off the non drive side bolts, and try tapping the crank arm off but it wont budge, am i doing it correctly??
This is far from the correct way of doing it but it works
I wound the non drive side BB cup out using some grips and a towel to stop any marking, which pushed the arm off
As i say far from the correct method but it does work
no idea with hollowtech
but i do the same with my truvativ ruktion/xr (or whatever it is) bb
just undo non drive side
i find it easier than using crank tool (as i have an external bb SPANNER)
easy life
doh! answer staring my in the face, it was a self extracting crank bolt, i had just taken it all apart like a normal bolt to get at the axle, and realised i had to put it all back together ot then unscrew the axle bolt to pull of the crank arm.
