It collided with a hacksaw!

LOL...I hope it was something irreparable...Stool conversions should only be made to Hi-Ten steel Fujis and stuff like that...if you have to have a GT then make is a Tequesta!

The headtube had cracked and some numpty tried to weld it up.

They put too much heat into the titanium and fooked its properties up

I had it checked out by an aerospace welder and too be fair he gave it a go, but to no avail.

So now its gonna be used in the garage

You should put some casters on it...!

Wouldn't want to scrape me ankles on what's left of the downtube though...

...looks like it could be pretty painful...

Was that frame originally a 99 that was painted white with the red and blue decals?

I thought on GT's that the stool was located on the top of the seat behind the handlebars.........
