Framesets alone sometimes go for that money. In fact I'm pretty sure that there's a frame for sale on this forum at the moment for not far off that price.

Frame only (looks identical to yours too apart from the size) and it's £100 MORE than you sold the complete bike for (it's still a reasonable price for the frame too!).. :shock:

I want to speak to you Digital Pikey about my GT Xizang frame that I purchased from your brother James and that you have packed for me, and is posting to me, I've paid paid £550 for this frame only on mon!! Where is the frame? This price was delivered!!!

Oh dear this is going south, but if you sell on a forum you must accept you may well sell to someone who may split to make a buck (note to any recent person I've brought off not me!)
Same with Ebay of course , though you do not pay Ebay fees here. But on Ebay you will reach a market value. Horses for courses.

Has the bike been sold?
Will we see it re-appear on the For Sale forum in bits over the coming week or so?
The plot thickens - although I have to say I've got no problem with whoever bought it splitting it to make a bit of money.
Nick dj got his asking price (to try to knock the price down would be frankly offensive!) and so long as the bits re-appear (if they do) at a fair price then it's all good.
I just wish I'd seen it first! :roll:

Normaly I would agree, I have been told by several people that I am being foolish letting it go for so little but I wished to sell.
But no mention of paying post- I did not get to speak to Digital Pikey(in Thialand) but his brother Explosive27? One person two accounts?
and Dave has not got his bike?
