Oooh, that is luuuverly! Probably my favourite year for both the graphics and catalogue spec. I was only looking at my '94 catalogue to check something on Sunday and it caught my eye as usual - the full XTR, Mag 21 SL/Ti & Syncros build was a stunner.

One day...

Cheers steve not sure if I should do a full original spec build or just trick it out to the max

94 was one of only two years that the hand polished Xizang was sold as a complete bike...98 was the other year. The 99 was also available complete but was a painted frame.

great frame! I think both ways you are considering are great, the original spec is very cool, but I also like to see how creative other retro fans can be with building a ride

Got the bad boy on its wheels this afternoon for a mock up of what it will look like soon (hopefully)
