Apologies for bringing back an old thread, but @Suprachrgd82 do you still happen to have any of these cable guides? I'm also located in the US, and am looking for a guide to get my Karakoram project up and running!

I discovered Retro Bike too late.
However I am highly motivated to complete my Karakoram restoration.

@novocaine I saw you started a 3D design. Would it be possible to share your source file ?
I have a neighbor who could adjust it (enlarge it a bit to have some inner tube to protect the seat tube, increase size to put through a break sheath + adjust eyelet angle as it will be placed higher + maybe add another screw for easier installation).

If I can find it. It was a quick doodle a long time ago.
I can draw it again if I can get measurements from someone. Just not for a week or so.

My buddy‘s bike shop is closing and I rescued a handful of them to assist anyone with keeping their GT alive. These aren’t 100% necessary to functionality, but do complete a bike to OEM spec. I’m in the US, but will happily ship one (worldwide) to you for the cost of postage.

If you are overseas and promise to pay it forward to others in need, I can send you several.

I also have 2 GT clamping stem cable hangers for front cantilever brakes (1 1/8” steerer) for the cost of postage as well.
