GT Team RTS

I'm not clued up on all things GT but i know they done a RTS1 a RTS 2 and 3 never seen a Team RTS before though,it's got everything XTR and needs a good restoration to get it back to it's best again.
Maybe a GT expert can throw some light on it,did they do a Team bike or is it an actual Team Riders old bike.

This is up for the second time...didnt sell last time as the description was awful...it just said "hand built in usa". I messaged the seller to hopefully do a deal but they communicate like a deaf mute. Some people ey?!
The bike looks as genuine as and looks to have seen very little action...just very dusty.
Anyway I bet thus will easily make its starting price now it been outed...well worth it in my opinion

Been doing some googling and came across a site called bikepedia which says they were only produced between 1994 and 1995 and both were fully equipped with Shimano XTR,they had slightly different specs for stems/seatposts etc. The 94 bike had a inline GT alloy micro adjust post which this seems to have,95 bike came with a syncros.
They were expensive bikes back then aswell,the 94 bike was $3,198 and the 95 bike was over $3,300 which with a bit more googling equates to £1500 or so with the exchange rates from back then.
I don't think there will be many of these bikes knocking about so makes it pretty rare.

If only i had the funds :cry:
