Needs rockshox, either dho's or early boxxers - pace will look worse than the mr t's

I don't really like the dho's as I always think they look too thin. I would not mind some boxxers but later ones I think.

I hope the pace do not look too bad, I did really like the Monster T's though as they are chunky.

Is that a bicycle or a beast?

My brother owns an STS DH too. But why's the decals different? Have you changed it?

I am not sure, these are the stickers that came on the frame when I bought it. What do your brothers look like?

hiya

what size front mech does it take? im trying to get mine running!

Lovely looking bike!

Doug

Thanks, I will try and see what size mech is fitted this weekend when fitting the new forks.

Well I fitted the Pace forks yesterday to see how they look.

I have taken them back off so I can cut the steerer tube to the length I need.

The forks must weigh about half as much as the Monster T's which I like. They do feel a bit flimsier though and not as simple.

Has anyone got any info on these forks? I want to do an oil change and I think I need to just whip off the adjusters and take off the circlips below. One leg looks to have a dipstip when you take the top cap off. There is also a valve at the bottom of one of the legs.

Anyway here are a couple of pics I took.
