GT RTS Frame, 16", Worth a look.

Hey all

Been riding my RTS for a month now and love it loads but its just to small for me =(

Fully restored
- New genuine GT decals.
- New bush bearings
- Media blasted frame
- Tubes flushed with anti corode.
- Full black powder coat
- Rack and canti mounts removed - will take v brake or magura perfectly now.

Its a GT 16"

All in all a nice frame ready to ride.

Poor points are some threads were damaged buy and old b/b, i had the b/b re-cut and not had any problems, but its worth mentioning.

Will do some more better pictures tomorrow, ant questions please ask.

Hi, I've a 16 inch RTS-1 build in progress, but have to say yours looks sweet (also have a team RTS-1 in 18 which is complete, but not really a retro build as has the latest XTR kit on it). I'm 6ft and with a long use seatpost and some riser bars (is this considered sacrilige on an RTS?) it fits a treat and rides like a dream.

I've just sourced the same crankset that you have, but not sure what size BB to get - what size one did you fit and have you had any trouble with chain line etc?

That's a great looking frame, great price, my size too.

I'd have snapped it up if i had'nt just spent a load of money trying to get my LTS back together :roll:
