For Sale GT RTS 3 needs a new home

Taz33

Retro Newbie
Been in the garage for years and want to find a deserving home for it. It’s in really good nick for its age as not been used a lot. Don’t know how old it is as picked it up on Gumtree 5 years ago. All original parts. 26” wheels and 18” frame. Anyone interested?

Where are you located and how much?

Any cracks around the BB or lower pivot area?
I’m in neston Wirral. No cracks. Don’t thinks it’s ever been taken off road. I’m looking for £290. You can FaceTime me and I can show you bike via video call . 07703045958

Thanks but that’s WAY over it’s worth. Good luck with your sale though.

I’m just going off others for saie. I’m no expert. What would you offer?
The problem you're facing is many many people, with too much time on their hands, bought bikes during the lockdowns creating a bubble. That bubble has now burst and the market for those bikes has collapsed. Many people are now trying to offload bikes that cost an artificially inflated sum and are desperate to claw back some of the cost. Many of the bikes you see for sale have been on the market for quite some time, and will remain so because of their perceived value. The buyers are simply not there anymore, they've moved on. Look at the completed items on the well known online flea market, not the items that are currently for sale.

Plus I’d also add that enthusiast buyers will only want the bedroom poster level bikes which unfortunately this isn’t. (It’s the bottom of the range).

I only wanted it as I had the same one new in 96 in that spec.

Ive had quite a few Taiwan built RTS’s and they ranged from free to £70.
