Here we have a 1998 GT LTS 2000. Overall condition is good although it does have some marks etc. No dents and nothing too serious. I believe the bike is an 18" and is slightly too small for me at 6' 2", although it's good fun to ride as it handles very well and is easy to throw around!
The forks and rear shock both work as they should and the rear locks out via a nifty (home made) handlebar mounted lever. I'll get details of the exact spec upon request but most items can be seen in the pics. Highlights include CODA Tarantula cranks, KORE stem, Yeti Handlebars, Marzocchi forks, Specialized front hub, GT seatpost and XT front mech. The rest is Deore I think with an LX rear mech. Pedals are SPD one side/flats on the other and the tyres are Michelin Wildgripper Lites.
I find that when I'm offroad and putting power through the drivetrain the chain sometimes skips of the sprocket it's on. I'm not sure if this is due to suspension compression and the chain becoming slacker or whether the chain/cassette and chainrings need replacing. I suspect it's the former but would advise any buyer to assume it's the latter!
I'm after £250 plus postage for this although I am open to trades. I'm after a hard tail, ideally from the 1993-94 era. I would however consider a late 1990s Cannondale.
Any questions just ask. Bike is located in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk and viewing is welcome. Shipping is offered at cost.
