GT Karakoram in Purple Haze - anyone got one?

Not sure if this is in the right section, but can anyone tell me do they have/did they have a GT Karakoram in the Purple Haze colourway?

I have a Karakoram (I think its a 1994 not quite sure) which I would describe as blue and black - someone has told me that the colourway is in fact called 'Purple Haze' and was quite rare, so I need to know if this is the case, as I had planned on splitting it up and selling the good bits. The frame isn't what I had classed as great, as it is in a battle versus rust, but if it is this Purple Haze job, then maybe I should think twice before getting rid.

Thanks...now that is definitely what I'd call Purple. which makes me think mine is blue.
Have had a look through old posts on here, and found one the same colour owned by 'Kaiser'.

I;ve attached a pic of mine (as explained it's in need of TLC and bucketloads of it).

Def not the same colour as yours which makes me think it's not the Purple Haze one at all.

...so, what is it, and what year? (i bought in second hand in about 1999 ish)

the first 4 numbers of the frame number should tell you , i.e. 0494 would be april 1994 .

mines is defo purple so i'd say yours is black/blue ? pm kaiser , he should know

I had a purple haze Karakoram new back in 89 which was subsequently stolen within months of getting it Loved the colour and still miss it.

No The purple haze was a kinda hazy light purple with white bits, hard to explain.
