This one will be missed... reliving the moment when you bought the exact same bike 30 odd years ago ....for me has not disappointed!

The paint on these is something else close up.

It really is awesome paint, there's a little period of a couple of years were GT's paint was head and shoulders over other brands. This paint is what pulled me in back in the day.... just had to have it! kind of understated and classy but yet still full on !
Is a replacement on the cards?...well no....a restoration? yes! I have something that's much older and we'll a bit of an heirloom too! It's requiring a lot of love and a lot of dollar bills....so it's worth parting with this GT but damn it's stinging ...so going to miss it!

Really really nice bike. I’m about to make a start on a purple haze Karakoram which has come back to me after quite a few years away. Look forward to seeing what you’ve got next is it another GT?

Thank you,it's been a pleasure being the custodian....I've got a good feeling in my gut that the chap coming for it in a mo will be the same.
As for more GT's....I've got 4 customs on the go ... But what this sale is for is to get this lil ripper back to tip top!

Mais oui!
It's a France sport with vitus tubing,was my late french grandpops little whip.
It's actually pre 50's !
When it gets property started I'll start a little thread for it it's quite saucy if you like a bit of vintage road.
