I got this GT on Facebook marketplace… it's possible that the decal is no longer original because usually this decal is for the BMX series GT. Does anyone know what GT this is?

Not a GT, not even close. Before GT used the Triple Triangle design, they had welded the seat stays to the end of the top tube which protrudes through the seat tube, see this thread for reference of the pre 90's GT frame.

So like everyone else, I am very sure that this isn't a GT. What it is though, is a quite interesting frame design... Are you going to build it up? I'd be interested to see what you do with it if you do!
