Well it's not a Zaskar.

Curved end cap would make it a 7005 series frame, top and downtube gussets means it's a 20" most likely (I can't remember if the 19" had both gussets) and what looks like a single bolt hanger would make it post '96.

So an Avalanche or lower. Still a solid, reasonably light and reliable frame. With the sought after hanger as a bonus. And a bottom bracket!

because I had an Aggressor (curved end cap, obviously) that was 6061.. but from '06.. I think..

Possibly, but that looks like a single bolt hanger, so later than '93. Is your Backwoods a '94 model year? I can't remember them being around in '93.

Up to 2001 (if memory serves) yep. Zaskar's were 6061, all other GT aluminium hardtail frames were 7000 series. Anything after '97 isn't 'retro' anyhows!

The hanger is £15-20 by itself.
