GT Arrowhead - 98 or newer??

Hi RB Team

I picked up this Arrowhead by chance the other day and was thinking of refreshing it as a commuter for my wife to ride.

I am currently restoring my 96 Zaskar LE and was looking to find a home for the Deore XT gear that it has on at present as I slowly replace with period XTR where possible. I've sourced some excellent her from here as you might expect!

In any case, what do you think of this frame?? It's 7005, no doubt made in Taiwan however appears in good condition. The question I have is this still in the reasonable quality build window for GT and thus worth the effort to rebuild???

I should add that I have already searched the bikspecs site and cannot find Arrowhead listed?

I would say it was older than 98 with canti's i may be wrong though!

yes with similar decals to the 96 range? So little information on this model - weird... I know it was one of the worse specced models, however it still seems to have the same base frame as an avalanche in 7005? Thus worthy of a rebuild?

The outpost trail was the lowest spec i thought? If it is the same 7005 frame as the others its a good starting point keep the forks as well potential to be a light !

Thanks I think it's a 96 as well. If so i'm going to rebuild as frame is solid!
