Hi guys, great thread had a good read through glad I found it. Looking to replace the front linkage bushes/bearings on my mongrel. Have the spherical one ready to go just not sure what specs/sizes for the one through the forks and below the stem attaching to the frame would be? I apologise I'm not really a 'biker' so probably have the names for things wrong ... any info would help thanks

Front bearings are KP6. You can buy them direct from Whyte:

Its a lot cheaper to google and buy from bearing suppliers as long as you make sure the quality is ok.
I have just completed a rebuild, willy waving pictures with added stowaways.

Fetched this last week which initially I wasn’t keen on. However they do grow on you ….

@jelly head It is real, BUT a big part of the enjoyment is the fact it is different i find. I like it, but don't love riding it and often go back to other bikes.

I'm intrigued now, is it just the general feel that's not 100% doing it for you? I've got one i'n bits that i've yet to ride properly so i'm interested in your thoughts
