I'd like to say that I'm some kind of Dog Whisperer, and that I taught him to do it, but he does it all by himself. He'll be using loo roll next ;)

Whilst reading a bike mag

Mine often do their thing at the bottom of the river bank under the bushes, or down in the seaweed on the rocky shore. I pick it up everywhere else, but these two areas are dangerous for bipeds.

I carry proper poo bags and sealing freezer bags, I double bag them and this avoids issues with smell. Once a week I put them in a friend's pet compost.

I approach anyone I see letting their dog mess and offer them a bag.

Never had a bad response yet.

This thing of hanging the bags on fences, trees, etc. is madness.

These people need prosecuting.

My dog poos in my garden far too often.

I just wanted to share that with friends. If somebody could please invent a purpose for the stinky stuff I could harvest it and even share it if the market were to emerge.

Maybe it's better than oil. Any body tried it?

hope the cat recovers... :x

i live near a park and the mess is shocking, sad that many people just are not bothered

im a big animal fan.....2 cats (and 3 kittens) and 2 dogs at the girlfriends house, strangely they all get on and seeing the cats tackle a great dane is funny as....

also have a dozen guinea pigs at our allotment with a rabbit they have a huge 40ft x 40ft area all for themselves to roam free!

all animals need looking after and that includes at walkies time....gets me irate walking in scenic areas and seeing sh1t everywhere!!!!

He went to his gun cabinet, got out one of his shotguns, and made his way down to the field.

The dog was still there. The dog got shot and killed, AND the farmer who owned the dog compensated my grandad for the 3 lambs that had to be killed as a result of the attack.

I wish things were that simple now!

They are. A farmer can still shoot a dog worrying his livestock and get compensated by the dogs owner for damages to the livestock. Including unborn lambs/calves.

yep, one dog got shot near where we walk ours in cumbria just recently.

owner nowhere to be seen, dog was in field with lambs....blam

Ah good - I didn't realise that.

He had a Lynx on his land a few years back too... I advised him perhaps not to shoot that  . He saw it pretty regularly for a couple of months and then it disappeared.

Professor Ollie says I poo right in the hedge otherwise my master picks it up. What I don't like is those cats coming and leaving poos in my garden while their masters sit oblivious to their evil creatures deeds. I would love to bag that up and mail it back to them.

Was on a cycle path the other day , when a smallish dog on far too long a lead jumped in front of my bike. I managed to hit the brakes, locked up everything and just avoided him. I was kind of shocked by the whole experience, and probably looked a little pale. Then the dog owner starts laughing and saying scared of a little dog! My reply was mainly expletives about his responsibilities, but think it went over his head. Next time will run over it, but then i guess i will be riding dangerously
