Nice rubbed on some pitta.

Just not for the uninitiated.
Yup, the friends who want to try them usually order Vindaloo in a curry house, so they are used to hot, but I suspect the Dorset Naga will be another level of hot entirely

Hehehe, slightly different level of heat! A vindaloo is like plain yoghurt to a bit of Naga.

Ok, guys - have you actually tried it? Having had a "bit" of naga myself - more like a teeeeeeeeeny weeny "tongue to the a cut end" for a few seconds - I'll tell you that there is no HEAT involved in naga. It's a straight chemical burn, plain and simple. I'm not joking... I got a blister on the surface of my tongue. Please be careful... I love me some chili/hot sauce, I go through 2 bottles of tabasco or one bottle of Dave's Insanity a week (I like the flavour)... but honestly, naga is NOT for regular consumption! Maybe a tiiiiiiny piece to hotten up an entire pot of stew... but then, wouldn't you rather have a lot of less spicy chilis in it so you can chew em? :D

That said, if you'd like to spare a seed or two and send a couple my way... would be much obliged, sir!

Yep, as with anything I won't comment unless I've tried it/experienced it. It isn't about flavour, of course, but that's not the point is it? It's about hurting yourself, in a nice way. I'd not try and eat one though, just something rubbed with one

I am fully aware of how freaking hot a Naga will be

Once grown, if I get any chilli's they will be sent along with a warning to my mates who want to try them

I can just manage one Scotch Bonnet very thinly sliced on a pepperoni pizza, that's hot enough for me!

If you want a couple of Dorset Naga seeds PM me ;)

I have quite a few other varieties of Chilli too.... but nothing else in the same league as Naga

Fair enough, then go very, very careful with those bad-boys then. Wearing gloves is sensible.
