Indeed. We must resist such cultural colonialism. It is bad enough that the vast majority of devices come shipped with US English as the default, but we have Subway, MacDonald's, Pizza Hut, Starbucks and all the rest pushing out the eclectic mix of eateries our town centres used to contain. They are even trying to force us to accept their smaller measures. Have you ever actually had a six inch Sub? No sir! I tell you, they are five inches at most. We are being sold short!
As for Ebay, I will be glad to see the back of it. I am forthwith setting up my own version for us country folk.
