Government says dont panic - nation panics!

Don't own a car, my motorbike's sat in the cave un-ridden for years and cycle everywhere. I'm looking forward to the nice, quiet, empty roads on the commute to work. Roll on the strike!

I'm alright jack.

But you will not see so many caravans around either Tad, will not be so much fun for you

I do a lot of miles with work and hope that most of the panic buyers tanks will be full leaving the forecourts empty soon ..... Wishfull thinking & bet the price goes up as well

I believe it is illegal to store more than five gallons of petrol at home..... :?

So if my wife's car is in what little garage space isn't taken up with bikes, and the fuel tank is full......?

Also, interesting how many filling stations have taken the opportunity to sneak the fuel price up by 1 or 2p per litre!
Profiteering b**tards!!!

Is this still going on? Need to fill the car to go away in, might have to siphon the mower.

Yeah it is.
Couple of filling stations round here have run out and there are constant queues at all the others.

Good luck, John. I too am in the same situation. First time off since Chrimbo and couldn't find a garage with diesel.

Eventually topped up around midnight! We can now get to the first part of our holiday but may well have to abort the second. It will now be well into summer before my parents get to see their grand children.

Solidarity? Sack 'em all.
