I think this all started with Thatcher :twisted: From her day onwards there was no real left of center party to balence things out. And you end up with the "I'm alright, give me more" attitude that we have today.

We need a change of heart in this country, we need to help each other, and not be saddled with policies and debt by people that it won't affect.

Just don't know how to acheive this in the near future....... :cry:

There are movements springing up all over to combat this 'creeping socialism' and government dependence that some seem to desire.

People need to hold rallies and support candidates who embrace fiscal sanity/conservatism, personal responsibility and business friendly policies with lower taxes.

The government gets a chunk of the money every time it moves. As long as money keeps moving, the government will eventually get it's share. There is no need to stifle economies with high taxes. Lower taxes and let people spend more. They buy more stuff and that creates more jobs. This cycle repeats and the economy grows.

Dependance on the government leads to a society of people who cannot function on their own. This is what we are seeing today. We have generations of kids who have been over coddled and always given praise. We stopped keeping score of their futbol matches and correcting their tests with a red pen. If you spank a kid today the authorities might come for you.

These kids get out in the work force and get criticized for poor performance for the first time in their lives and they cannot handle it. They don't know how to do simple tasks or follow directions. They don't understand that they must adapt to the job - the company will not adapt to them. It is no surprise they are politically ignorant but ideologically rigid in their beliefs. The school system and pop culture media have brainwashed them all into being abortion loving socialist metrosexuals with half a nut on a good day and no job skills.

They damn sure can't make it on their own so they need the government. It is time to wake these idiots up and make them see themselves for what they are. Tell the politicians you aren't going to support a generation of lazy, greedy, stupid, insolent bastards.

Darwin was right period. We are just animals. Yes we have been to space and back, but considering the size of the universe, it's just like any species exploring and trying to find new territory to breed and expand, use resources and move on.

What we do may impress our own ego's at times, but our achievments are tiny in an infinate universe.

ALL our behaviors both of the body and the mind are just the result of natural selection moving along in time.

Belief systems are just another way for us to survive and continue and like brown spots or red spots...............they will come and go and change with time.

Interesting, George Bernard Shaw came up with the gas chambers to rid undesirables before Hitler, I wonder if Hitler followed Shaw's work.

But Godwin's law, of which I had to look up on mention of it, there is no point having rules of what must not be talked about, because that is self censorship and by censorship we don't talk about perhaps what is needed to be talked about, because if we don't, we might not recognise similar actions when they occur.

That was a bad time for so called human civilisation, what Germany did to what it called undesirables, but it has been done before and since, but our task is to be watchful, because though we may condemn Nazi Germany for what they did, there is no point doing so if we allow it to thrive elsewhere.

Now I understand what led up to that disgusting time in human achievement and the same conditions are starting to appear here in the UK, it is why I ask is this country being purposefully run down and to what end, because there is a rise in nationalism, which often comes with poverty.

If they can crash the country - not just yours but the US and others as well - then they can scoop in, pick up the pieces and set all the rules for the new government. Total control. No opposition allowed if they deem fit (and oh they will deem it fit). I doubt they will let you have a gun.

There is a goal to eliminate borders, destroy religion and create a one world government. Global warming is one of the tools they want to use to accomplish this. Penalize all those western nations and redistribute some of their wealth. There is no man made global warming. The earth warms, it cools. Been doing it for millions of years.

The bastardization of science that occurred in the name of global warming isn't so far from what Hitler and the Nazi's did (actually it is almost identical to Lysenkoism that occurred under Lenin). They used science to push an agenda that science did not support. They declared 'the debate is over' before the debate even began. You were a flat earther if you didn't believe. You didn't believe in science. These are the tactics they use and they have a willing media and pop culture scene to push the agenda and make it 'hip'.

The rise in nationalism is more likely a result of the massive influx of muslims and their desire to bring Sharia Law with them. In France it is happening as Marine LePen's recent success has shown.

Does it ever occur to anyone many muslims go where they do to escape Sharia law as you may be aware those that say they implement Sharia do not favour women's rights or homosexuals, not that those two groups are legislated against in the Qur'an they are not, but it is a cultural reason why they are put down and persecuted, oh and hanged in Iran. Would we turn such people away, I won't and that because myself in their position I would do the very same if I had the balls.

But of Islam, why, now it is the West's new bogeyman for we just must have an enemy imagined or real to justify certain industry and corporate exploration overseas, and why the UK navy was originally formed, to protect trade, then we have the opium wars and so on. But of the notion of the bogeyman we just need, who was it before, yeah the communists and who before them ?

But the Islamic threat in the UK, it strikes me as though some actually want it here as it acts as a divider of people and instead of expelling those who incite hatred there are all sorts of laws why they should stay here, yet seemingly very little when it is a pentagon snooper getting extradited to the USA, and with that particular theme, curious how it is the latest extraditee is so easily being kept here despite UK government ruling he is out.

Interglacials tend to last about 10.000 years, and the last few hundred years before a new ice age the temperature always climbs more rapidly than it does during the rest of the interglacial. We've been living in an interglacial for slightly over 12.000 years now. You don't have to be a genius to figure out that our great grandchildren will probably have to deal with snow all year round.

Global warming really isn't an issue. In fact the earth is slowly cooling down.

They also looked at the carbon dioxide readings, and found several periods where CO2 levels were a lot higher than today.
So the only good reasons for trading in your big gas-guzzling 7 litre 4x4 for something smaller would be the prices of fuel and the fact that we're likely to run out of oil at some point in the second half of this century.
