I have been thinking about this for a while and the anarchist in me just has got to ask and seeing as this website appears to be frequented by more able minds than some, it is here I come to ask ;
Austerity whether it is necessary or not is open to question, but one thing is certain is it is making Britons poorer be that perception or actuality and with that there is a rise in finger pointing as poverty always seems to seek a scapegoat and there the chosen minority come under fire. I say chosen because it seems what minority come into disrespect always seems to coincide with stories in the national newspapers., stories of exceptional cases highlighted and written in such a way it creates anger amongst some of the readership who then take that anger to where they may take it, as poor people always feel threatened by someone and seek to remove that threat either by direct often unlawful action or calling upon authority to do something about it
Then we have the politicians who normally ignore the public mood, but on occasion they respond with words to suit a certain mindset as they seek to create new policies and laws, so some questions could be;
1. Is what is happening in the UK the result of secret policy ?
A case of something influences media and government, media educates the populace and government responds to a particular public mood when it suits them. Undoubtedly to push trough questionable policies.
2. Is government telling media what to report on or is media doing it’s own thing and controlling government via public mood ?
One thing is certain in this, the populace are malleable they will believe much of what they are told, some all of it and others none of it, but malleable all the same, so that leaves media and government, who or what controls what
3. Is there an influencing authority which is acting on government and media ?
4. But with the rise in poverty helped along by media reporting and further doom and gloom from various polls reported is there a manipulating action being implemented ?
5 Is Britain purposefully being run down via media ?
6. Is there an end game and to what purpose ?
What I am personally picking up is there is a resurgence of what could be akin to nazism what with the implementation of the term; Work Shy to describe anyone not working which just happens to coincide with what the WW2 nazi regime called and labelled via a badge sewn onto their clothing, the disabled; arbeitssheu, who were forced into slave labour and ultimately faced the same fate as the majority of undesirables whom we are all well versed, and the forgotten for a near equal number of others also met their untimely and cruel end at the hand of the nazis. But, lo and behold the government wants the unemployed to work for their benefits, trials are already underway in certain parts of this country. Knowing what I know of WW2 I cannot help but see the similarities between what was then and what is coming to pass in Britain of the twenty first century, and with that there is an unhealthy rise in nationalism, BNP and similar, I am seeing the past unfold in the present, I hope I am wrong.
