Gopro Hero 3 advice

I use a go pro HD on the bike and have been very happy with it. The only real pain in the backside is editing and uploading.
Cineform is great for converting to AVI but it doesnt edit as such. You can cut your clips into sections then convert your good bits to AVI, edit in moviemaker or such and then use a free program such as Leewo to convert back to MP4 to upload. The MP4 is the key as it is a much smaller size file than the same clip in AVI but the same quality. I wouldn't bother using youtube as quality is really rubbish, I found that Vimeo is a far simpler, quicker and superior quality site.
I'm no geek just a joe average that wanted a bit of video from my rides but soon found out its never just plug and play :)
Though if you use an apple or Ipad then the go pro is very nearly plug and play as all the codecs and editing software is already there.
