What are some good retro looking tyres...some amber/tan wall tyres. What would you go for??

Cheers

I've got some Vittoria Open Corsa Evo SC clinchers on one of my bikes and they ride a treat. Bobbinogs reckons they only last a couple of thousand miles though. I only get to ride it a couple of times a month unfortunately, but they are super tyres and ride very nicely.

Yeah they look the ticket, thanks for the info....nice bike too!

Those Michelins are the cheap and cheerful option. I like the slightly more upmarket Panaracer Pasela too and the Challenge open tubulars are very nice and classic looking tyres, but somewhat more expensive again.

Veloflex Masters or Challenge Criterium ... the latter seem to stay nicer as the walls are ruberised in some way and don't suffer so much with getting grubby.

Schwalbe Lugano Active did it for me. They can be purchased for about 16€.
They look cool to me and even i have zero comparison since they are on my first road bike ever i'd say they are nice to ride.

I've got Michelin Dynamic Classics on one of my bikes in 700x20 size. They ride quite nicely. They've got a conventional rubber tread, so no fancy sticky compound to pick up debris and cause punctures - so I think they're good for commuting. Rolling resistance is good. Tan colour is a good classic tan colour (important for us, in my opinion). I've done about 2-3000 miles on mine and they're maybe 1/2 through their life, but my roads are pretty terrible and prematurely chop all my tyres up and I'll have to replace them before they're done. I'm going to be getting another set for the other bike.
