Gloves off...my first Ebay dispute (as a seller)

ebay/paypal will lust use an automated system and refund the guy out of your account...even if you phone and speak to paypal you will still loose....its shit but its what they do    does sound like the guy is a complete idiot though :?

If I were you, and Paypal finds in his favour and takes the money off your credit card, I'd consider taking them to small claims court. Won't cost you anything.

Ebay is rotten to the core now, IMO. They seem to think they're immune to the law.

The way people on this forum insist on using Paypal really annoys me. If ever an organisation created its own need, it was Paypal.

You will loose this round and it will be irritating

I lost my account via a similar thing. Speaking to paypal on the phone got me my money back but the automated system lost me my account. I use the GF's instead.

Thats exactly what I would do Chris....small claims....doesn't cost anything and as I have said....I won't lie down on this.
PS I use paypal here...as a gift with no fees for me or the buyer (if they have the funds) as it is quick and easy and you know don't wait for days for a cheque that never comes etc.

Take all the funds out of your Payfraud account now! They can't steal it out of there if there's nothing in there!

Good luck old boy.

pip pip!

Too late....escalated to dispute.

I'm trying to save some emails to a file which I can send to Paypal....how do I do it?
I need to save as jif jpeg or png....I have a bog standard windows pc.

Thanks chaps :D

Use print screen and copy and paste to desktop or windows paint. eBay is a motherfucker (I don't think I deserve to be banned for saying that).

I sold a phone to a guy in Sweden, had proof of postage and the guy said he didn't have them. Royal Mail showed it had been signed for, took Paypal a month to see this and held my money for that long. At this point in time, I made a living through Paypal (any work as a composer from the US got paid through PayPal) and they held all my money and made all my bills late.

To be honest, it's sometimes not worth being a seller on eBay.

Hope you get this sorted but, as a pretty realistic/zen guy, I've realised it's best using that energy/time on something positive and not wasting it on something like this.

Sometimes it's best to give the guy his money back, learn a lesson is this one life we have and spend that time we could waste with loved ones or doing what we love (or both). Is that money really worth those minutes spent in your life dealing with it?
