Indeed! I can understand Scarponi wanting to win on the road. There seems to be a fair bit of support in the pro peloton for Alberto. Reckon they might just be keeping on his good side though for when he comes back.

Doh! for one reason or another it looks like I'm going to miss the next couple of days racing. Should be a fine battle as well. Hopefully it'll be a cliffhanger for the TT on Sunday.

i think Pozzovivo' forcing in climbing may create damage , Rodriguez in alert , last chances for Scarponi Basso
Hejseidal can get 1,30/ 2.00 min in TT, but Pampeago and Stelvio are hard uphill for him although he seems in good shape

Could come down to a lemond/fignon style final time trial.pozzivivo should get a stage and I think rodriguez will put the pressure on hejseidal on the steep climbs.should be a cracking final few days

just see todays stage, ryder was superb and looked the strongest off all the contenders. basso cracked , rodriguez had no answer to the big canadian .excellent day in the mountains

What a race! Loved it, much better than last years procession behind Contador. Some really excellent riding and racing, tough luck for Rodriguez but he fought till the end. And plucky riding from Hesjedal, done well for a big chap to keep on top of it in the hills and got his just rewards. Nice showcase for some top talent!
