Girls and boys and friends

Are girls more fickle than boys when it comes to friends. I ask this because I have a son 19 and he has held stable friendships from primary school till now with little to no arguments. Now my girls aged 10 and 12 are constantly falling out, being nasty and generally winding each other up

What are your opinions

Yes, most definitely. In the world of female it is much much more dog eat dog/competitive to look the best and be the most popular etc. In some circles of males it is the same but not enough to make up much of a %.

Males if they dont like someone, dont see that person.
