I purchased this frame:-

From here a couple of months ago, stripped all the parts off it and had it professionally stripped at great expense (£60) ready for painting or powder coating.. I've now abandoned the project as I've bought another FS bike fully built up elsewhere. Will also throw in a brand new unused Giant seat from hybrid. I will add pictures of the stripped frame when I get into the shed. It actually looks rather fetching as I polished it up with a view to leaving it unpainted.

So would anyone like this frame and other parts that came with it as a project - I've done/paid for the hard work but no longer need it. I'm just looking to claw some money back so I want £100 + post for it and i'll be making a loss on it.
I have a set of shimano wheels and a tatty Manitou fork to go with it which I'd price up as an extra £80 if anyone would like additional parts for the build.
PM would be nice so I don't miss any correspondence.

You paid £60 to have it stripped     how much every powder coater or paint shop I've used has charged no more than £20 to just strip a frame or its thrown in as part of the service if its being powder coated or painted as part of the service. Dude I'd go back to them and get some of your cash back as they did you.

Re:

I had it done at a furniture place after attempting to do it myself using the p*** poor version of Nitromors you can only get these days.
My local powder coaters said the shot blast they use was too harsh for an aluminium frame so it had to be done by hand.
I thought it was too expensive too but they claimed it took 3 hours by hand and I believe them as I had a real job using a hot air gun on the little I did.
