The older I get the less I give a sh1t about the little stuff.

The stuff that was big ( career, big house, finger on the pulse of the world ) has become little.

The small stuff ( in the woods on a bike, cuddling, the daffodils of spring ) became huge.

+1

I cant see close up without speaks, I take longer to heal these days.
I have most of my own teeth still, Ive had cancer in the past I cycled to my chemo.
I can ride for 6 hours without dying, cover 200 miles a week going to work, I'll climb 'anything' in the saddle, I have a six pack, dont drink or do drugs. I do have a problem getting enough fuel inside me Im sure my appetite has reduced.

Im nearly 54

Good man.

I was out of cycling due to I'll health for about 3 years. Have grown fat and weak. Want to get fit again

I take it you get regular check-ups?

If so, mention it. If not, go and mention it. No harm in mentioning it to your GP, if it's something you haven't discussed already.

 Not as much as I probably should, in the past I did get checked for diabetes, as you've suggested I'll make a point of it.

Cheers Neil

The missus pointed out the other day that my ears were growing and taking on a purplish hue.
She might be right; Sometimes she is.
Double bummer.
