Getting Marin oem looking stickers?

I am thinking about (once my Proflex is roadworthy.... :D) stripping down my Dad's bike to the frame and do a full strip lacquer / polish / relacquer exercise on it. Its quite cruddy.

Its a 1995 vintage so has a 3D sticker on the headtube, and a couple of 3D stickers on the seatpost tube. I reckon I can tease those off with a stanley knife blade and glue on after. The same cannot be said for the "MARIN" and "INDIAN FIRE TRAIL" stickers, as well as some other little ones like Marin Lite, etc.

Any pointers? Wondering if the bloke who did my Proflex 957 stickers also does Marin?

Here's the bike:- (and frame damage)

Actually, it looks like my 957 sticker man, gilm, is the one for this bike too.

I'd better get in touch! :D

Assume stripping is simply nitromors, scrape off whats left, and then time and effort with metal polishing compound? (I have autosol and an autoglym metal polish)
