Geoffrey Butler Serial Numbers?

Hello

I am trying to figure out when my GB frame was made.

It has the serial number 2568 at the 3 o'clock position on my bb shell and I know of one other found on Classic Lightweights that is 2268.

I'm sure the year is not 1968 as my frame is 1970s maybe early 1980s?

Forgot that my frame has tange forks and a very helpful contributor on this site sign posted an article for me that should help me date them as they did have a manufacturing code stamped on them.
